But the journey towards gender equality is far from over. According to recent data, women still face significant challenges in accessing resources and opportunities in the entrepreneurial landscape. As of 2022, in Canada, 16.8 percent of small- and medium-sized enterprises were majority women-owned. This gender gap underscores the urgent need for continued support and empowerment for women entrepreneurs.
