Impact Toolbox Partners with WeBC to Launch Social Enterprise Incubation Program

Impact Toolbox is excited to announce a new partnership with WeBC to offer a social enterprise incubation program for women entrepreneurs in January 2025. This dynamic, 7-part program will equip women in the pre-startup phase of their business with the tools and resources to grow purposefully and turn their ideas into sustainable, impactful ventures while ensuring financial viability.

WeBC is a non-profit organization that has proudly supported women entrepreneurs across British Columbia for three decades, providing thousands of entrepreneurs with business loans, expertise, training, and peer networks to help businesses grow and thrive. Since 1995, WeBC has created $2.6B+ in economic activity through funding initiatives, provided 86,000+ one-on-one advisory services, and trained 62,000+ women through sessions.

“We know that women are deeply passionate about building businesses that drive social impact, and we’re committed to supporting them at every stage of their journey,” says Kaitlyn McConnell, Skills Development & Mentoring Program Manager at WeBC.

Working together, Impact Toolbox and WeBC are addressing a growing movement led by women entrepreneurs who integrate social impact into their business models. In British Columbia, over two-thirds of women entrepreneurs align their businesses with positive social outcomes.

“We are honoured to work closely with eight women in BC to coach them throughout their journeys and bring their socially and environmentally impactful business ideas to life in their communities,” says Natalia Hahn, Chief Operations and Sustainability Officer at Impact Toolbox.

Partnering with Impact Toolbox is an exciting opportunity to empower early-stage entrepreneurs who aspire to launch social enterprises. Their expertise in equipping equity-deserving and emerging leaders with the tools to build sustainable ventures aligns perfectly with our mission. This collaboration is a reflection of our shared dedication to fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem where innovation and meaningful social change can thrive.
