In Cranbrook, BC, a group of neurodivergent youth saw a gap: a lack of mental health tools and resources that reflected their needs. With support from Impact Toolbox, they launched Buttons and Beyond—creating and selling handmade buttons to fund awareness, diagnosis, and inclusive education. Their initiative supports neurodivergent individuals and promotes community understanding. Awarded $2,500 to grow their vision, they show what’s possible when youth are equipped to lead change.
