Introducing the Youth Build-A-Business Program in partnership with KAST

Impact Toolbox is proud to work with KAST to bring this incredible program to youths across the Kootenays.

Since 1998, KAST (Kootenay Association for Science & Technology) has led our region’s economic development through technology and innovation. KAST is a connector of four regional districts, five First Nations, 29 municipalities, nine school districts, three post-secondary institutions, dozens of nonprofits, hundreds of small businesses, and thousands of tech workers. It is the largest technology-focused economic development association in the Kootenay economic region. Our mission is to enable a vibrant, thriving, healthy tech community in the Kootenays by creating inclusive economic opportunities, stimulating job growth, and providing entrepreneurs and businesses with the support they need to thrive in the local and digital economy.
