2020 Fellow

Kemasuode Ebiasuode Bright is a 21st-century solution-oriented entrepreneur driving long-term systemic changes in the educational sector in Nigeria. He focuses on building pupils’ academic and Non-academic outcomes in Nigeria’s underserved schools in low-income communities.

He is the founder of EDUSORT, a social enterprise that has made a tremendous impact and meaningful changes in the Education space globally. Through Edusort, he has impacted over 1500 Teachers directly, which would empower over 50,000 teachers in various communities and schools all over Nigeria. His teacher’s training programs cut across Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, and participants from Canada and the United Kingdom.

He has directly impacted over 2000 teenagers with his STEM collaboration courses and programs.  Bright has won numerous awards. He led a team of fellows to win the most outstanding change project award 2020 cohort, organized by Teach For Nigeria and the Teach For All network out of 55 projects initiated across Ogun, Lagos and Kaduna state.  He was recently selected among 29 other Africans for the 2020/2021 Social Innovators Programme & Awards Fellowship by Leap Africa.

He is an Alumnus of the FATE Foundation Aspiring Entrepreneur program and Sozo Networks’ Youth in Development Fellowship. He is also an Alumnus of Teach for Nigeria. He has spoken on different global education platforms such as The British Council, SWORT Talks, Teach For All and his works have been featured and celebrated on various media platforms.
