Passionate about developing solutions at the intersection of innovation and social impact, Andrew leverages 20 years of experience in the software industry along with a diverse background in the social sector. After years as a software engineering leader, he co-founded Impaktfel, a social mission-based business that serves nonprofits, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs. Through the use of innovative processes, technology, and data, Andrew helps organizations continuously improve to execute effectively, innovate, and scale. Andrew is an active mentor at both 1871 and the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, supporting social entrepreneurs and nonprofit founders as they navigate the different stages of a startup.
At America Needs You, whose programs support first-generation college students, he volunteers as a mentor coach. As an advocate of education, Andrew has been the Director of Operations at a Chicago-based youth nonprofit, while also previously serving several years on its board of directors. As a partner at Social Venture Partners Chicago, Andrew supports the growth of innovative nonprofits. Impact Toolbox’s goal to provide equitable access to aspiring social entrepreneurs aligns closely with Andrew’s beliefs and work.
