Ensuring that the proposal communicates to the target donors is core. It is also wise have it clear and concise.
Its also advisable to be equipped with intellectual property protection measures in a situation where partnership is considered

Thank you@ Sozo networks for the video: the proposal process by professor Jesse Lutabingwa. I have learnt keys to writing a successful grant proposal including clear plan and build strong relationships with funders. Also 8 components of good proposal which must be concise and creative, written well and remember to write abstract as last section.
My lessons from this lecture is to make sure proposal is well written and concise inclusive of the major components.
I also saw the need to always have a good relationship with funders as this may increase the chances of the proposal being accepted and approved .
When writing proposal you should always follow the 8 element and the sustainability not the project is very important when writing proposal
I have acquired more insights as regards drafting a great proposals. The eight (8) major component of a good proposal were explicitly understood.
In proposal or grant writing, it is best to adhere to all guidelines and instructions given, and be meticulous so not to miss out on details.
Proposals are best when they are concise, clear and intuitive. A cover letter shouldn’t be more than a page at most, and can be a paragraph or a few paragraphs at least, the evaluation plan should also include a monitoring plan, so to enable participants involved in the project/program easily track progress using key metrics,
A good proposal will show the sustainability and need of the project requesting funds or partnership.
The executive summary should always come last.
My key take aways from this session is;
Submit your proposal early.
Be concise and engaging.
Follow all 8 major components of a good proposal.
Don’t forget your summary must be written last.
Nice feedback
In this session, I learnt about the major things to consider when preparing to write a Grant. This include researching on what the organization fund, and other conditions. I also learnt about the 8 components of grant proposal.
Awesome feedback
Proposal process
In this video I learned key to write successful Grant proposal and 8 major components of good proposal.
I learned that when writing we have to make sure that our points are clear and located,
Cover letter should not exceed one page
I also learned that the challenge some time funders put on you are the limitations like page limitations here the trick can be how you can put all of those things on limited pages. What we need here is to be creative
The proposal must be consise. Addition to the major components of good proposal it is better to find the things they are looking for to score your proposal
In writing your grant proposals, you should always put in mind the 8 elements and it should be concise while clearly communicating your needs or goals to be met.
Quick take home points…
Make sure your points are easy to read and locate.
Cover letter should not be more than one page.
Sentences should not be too long. Make it short and concise.
Summary/Abstract should always come last while writing a proposal.
